Sushi—any time of the day, any day of the week. But if the funds are low, substitute sushi with Taco Bell.
“Solve Your Child’s Sleep Problems“ by Dr. Richard Ferber. I’ve re-gained hours of sleep thanks to this book.
Jump from a plane or scuba dive with sharks?
I’m afraid of heights, but I’d still have to pick skydiving over scuba diving with sharks. Worst case scenario, if it ends up as my demise, it’s far better to go having seen the world from a bird’s eye view than to possibly drown or get eaten by a shark!
If you had one super power, what would it be?
Time travel. Not so much to see famous events in history or even famous people (though that would be pretty amazing), but more so to experience the life, atmosphere and energy of different periods in time.
Favorite Childhood Memory
Buying ice cream and candy from the ice cream truck, as my friends and I took a break from playing in the street during the hot summer days.
What’s your favorite insect?
I don’t really have one, but since my favorite superhero is Spiderman, I guess I’d say spider.
What name would you choose for your band?
“Bananna Lightning,” with 3 n’s. That’s not a typo.
What is the weirdest thing you have eaten?
Chitlins, while I was in college. The smell alone was horrendous, and surprisingly the taste was even worse. Though in all fairness to those who love chitlins, these were served from my college cafeteria.
If you could instantly be an expert in anything, what would it be?
I’m not sure that “handyman” is the right word, but I would love to have all the knowledge and skills to be able to build a home from the ground up, including everything within its walls. I love DIY projects.
What do you want to do when you retire?
Travel the U.S. and the world with my wife, kids, and, maybe at that stage in my life, grandkids.
