How it works

When you add automatic enrollment to your existing 401(k) plan, your employees will be automatically enrolled in the plan at a set pre-tax contribution rate of 3%.

Every year, this rate will increase by 1% until they reach 6% – at any time, they can elect to contribute more by logging on to our website and making a change to their deferrals. The great thing is that employees don’t have to initiate enrollment–it’s all automatic!

Lower the cost of Safe Harbor

3.5% Safe Harbor match is now available in automatic enrollment plans. Previously, the most affordable Safe Harbor match option was 4%. Ask us about Safe Harbor, a plan that helps you maximize your 401(k) plan contributions.

Maximize tax savings

Contribute to each employee account up to a maximum of $43,500, and contribute as much as $22,500 (2022 IRS Section 402g limit) to your own account.

Improve the plan’s annual non-discrimination test results

with improved participation and increased employee account balances. The latter will help combat a top-heavy plan status.
